I send an sms at 2am saying: “Tomorrow meeting for dinner at 20.00”
The next day I call the german at 20.30 “Where are you?”.
Reply: “Isn´t the dinner tomorrow? You said tomorrow!”
Me- “Today is tomorrow!”
German- You sent the message at 2 am!
Moral:
For a german the day starts at midnight.
For me it starts in the morning.
